About Us
More than ever authenticity, condition and quality of example are the determining factors in evaluating fine instruments; players are realizing that not only the value but also tone and 'beauty' often depend heavily on these factors. For a violin hunter and salesman, the road to success is to seek out and offer only such fine items at reasonable market prices, based on the intrinsic value of the merchandise as opposed to trying to set world records or to sell 'marginal' or speculative merchandise. Since I buy most of the items I sell, as opposed to just work on commission basis, I have the same concerns as any other buyer/investor should. I am pleased to share my knowledge and experience with those who contact me for advice.
