 About Dmitry

The main objective of his business was to procure original instruments and bows primarily to international, retail violin shops. He specialized in Italian instruments and French bows of the 19th and 20th centuries, with a particular concentration, in terms of acquisition, sales and respected expertise, on the modern Italian school of violin making.

Over time his client base has extended to more and more musicians and collectors, requiring high quality, authentic instruments from the 17th to the 20th centuries.  In 1999, Gindin, co-founded the first Internet auction house specializing in fine string instruments, Tarisio Auctions.
